A Multilingual Poets and Publishers Gathering. Bangalore will witness a cultural explosion with budding poets meeting the established ones and a chance to get published in one day of great poetry, talent, wit and madness.

An extravaganza where aspiring and established poets meet, share, inspire, and get a chance to talk to different publishers at the event and pitch for publishing their poetry. We, at 'On Fire' aim to promote talent and give wings to the dreams of aspiring poets.

With no boundaries of age or experience, our event will be an amalgamation of various poems written in various languages. There will be a multilingual poetry recitation, a discussion on 'Poetry writing in India with reference to regional languages' where our established poets would answer the apprehensions of the aspiring minds, few of the poetry collections by different poets will be released. The winners of the online poetry contest will get to read their entries at the event. The aspiring poets will surely benefit from the industry experience of the professionals.

Guidelines to Participate in the Online Poetry Contest:

• Theme - "Happiness"
• Form - Any
• Poem Length - Upto 20 lines
• Poem must not be published in any anthology or book prior to this contest (Poems shared on own Facebook page are acceptable)
• One poem per person
• Send your submission to onfire955@gmail.com with Subject as: 'CONTEST - NAME (Poet)'
• Last Date of submission - 13th May 2013
• The Results would be announced on 17th May 2013
• The distribution of prizes would be held at Bangalore Poets Rendezvous
